Housecleaning Tasks

Tasks normally included in Routine Cleaning:

Bathrooms / Powder Rooms:

All fixtures are cleaned and sanitized including tub/shower, sinks, toilets inside and out
Clean and dry all mirrors, glass, counters and tile so they shine
Damp-wipe cabinet fronts
Clean all shelves, fixtures and items on the vanity
Garbage collection and removal to area designated by the customer
Carpeted floors are vacuumed and hard floors are vacuumed, washed and dried to reduce floor streaking
Fold toilet paper so you know we were there!

Kitchen:

Countertops are cleaned
Clean and dry all appliance surfaces and sinks
Damp-wipe cupboard fronts, table, and chairs
The front of appliances i.e. fridge, stove, microwaves and dishwashers are cleaned and polished.
Microwave is cleaned on the inside, and toaster crumbs are emptied
Garbage collection and removal to area designated by the customer
Carpeted floors are vacuumed. Hard floors are vacuumed, washed and dried to reduce floor streaking

All Other Rooms (Bedrooms, Entry, Living Room, Dining Room, etc.)

Dust all surfaces including tables, ornaments, pictures, ledges, baseboards etc. (up to approx. 8 ft. ceilings)
Highly visible interior glass (i.e. patio doors, French doors) that is susceptible to fingerprints, etc. is cleaned during each visit. Full window cleaning is extra and performed by a specialized window cleaner
Look for and remove cobwebs
Straighten linens on beds
Fingerprints and spots around switch plates and door knobs etc, are removed on a routine basis
Garbage collection and removal to area designated by the customer
Light fixtures are taken down and cleaned (this may not have to be done every visit)
Vacuum cloth furniture including under cushions
Carpeted floors and stairs are vacuumed. Hard floors or stairs are vacuumed, washed and dried to reduce floor streaking (we do our best to get under beds, light furniture, rugs, in closets, etc.)
